In the video above you can observe a rotifer, an animal of microscopic dimensions, which feeds with other microscopic organisms and vegetal waste which it catches with a ciliated structure placed on his head, called the corona. The rotifer's foot ends in two toes which contain adhesive glands to attach the animal onto the substratum when it finds a rich food source. You can also notice the sensory antenna (in the shape of a horn) placed on its head.
