Using tweezers I took a sample from one of the swimmerets (swimming legs placed on the shrimp's abdomen and which are also called pleopods) of a shrimp called Asian Filter Shrimp/Bamboo Shrimp/ Wood Shrimp/ Fan Shrimp/ Flower Shrimp/ Rock Shrimp. The swimmerets are also used for catching food - they filter food particles from the water due to their feather like ends (like in the image above).
