Mushroom spores
downloadWhile flowers use the pollen to ensure their survival as a species, the mushrooms use their spores (the violet shapes in the image) to spread their offsprings. The spores are present on the gills under the mushroom’s hat. When the wind blows, these spores dettach and „look for” a place to strike roots.
